Its predecessor, Zhuhai Precision Encoder Co., Ltd., was founded in 1994 as the Asian branch of Encoder Products Company (EPC) of the United States. After business integration and strategic upgrading, it was spun off from EPC to establish Zhuhai Delburg Technology Co., Ltd. in 2023.  To date, Delburg has reached an agreement with EPC to become a China-US strategic cooperation partner and realize independent brand operation.
